Friend Family Health Center is a not for profit Federally Qualified Healthcare Center, proudly serving the Southeast and Southwest sides of Chicago, IL. with six neighborhood clinics and a strong partnership with the University of Chicago.  Since 1997, Friend Family Health Center has provided quality affordable primary care to more than 30,000 low to moderate income men, women and children annually.

 

OMNI has been retained by Friend Family Health Center to assist in identifying a top non-profit leader for a Director of Clinical Innovation and Practice Transformation to serve as a key member of the FFHC leadership team and a clinical subject matter expert supporting the FFHC clinical practice.

Responsibilities

Reporting to a highly respected, dynamic CEO, the Director of Clinical Innovation and Practice Transformation will be responsible for the development and implementation of new clinic workflows, clinical protocols, population health and value-based purchasing. As a clinical subject matter expert, this position is expected to support innovation in new technologies that will accelerate clinical approaches and performances across all FFHC sites, ultimately improving outcomes and best practices for delivery of patient care.

  • Responsible for articulating the direction of clinical goals and benchmarks set by the Chief Executive Officer.
  • Establishes a solutions-oriented approach to solving personnel issues in a timely manner including performance failures and violation of standards of care or personnel policy. Performs due diligence in matters related to clinical practice.

  • Responsible for establishing systems of accountability for all providers to include productivity benchmarks, performance measures and controls for clinical quality assurance.

  • Provides leadership, vision, and direction in developing new clinical protocols and measures.

  • Directs, monitors and evaluates programs, revising and adapting as necessary and/or appropriate; assists in changes that are related to clinical services policies and protocols.

  • Works closely with Chief Executive Officer and Medical Director to provide direction regarding all clinical issues related to managed care and patient delivery care.

Qualifications

  • Requires a Board-certified /Family Medicine physician who has an IL state license.
  • 5-10 years experience as a Family Medicine physician.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in management roles with demonstrated progressive responsibility in the implementation of clinical services and operations.
  • Proficiency in EHR technology
  • Excellent verbal and written communication with experience communicating at an executive leadership level.
