OMNI has been engaged by our client, MSP Consulting, to identify candidates for the role of Client and Alliance Manager in their Overland Park, Kansas headquarters. In business since 2003, MSP Consulting is an experienced advisor specializing in high-performance merchant payment services. Specializing in working with the

small to medium-sized market, they have more than 65 years of combined expertise in management consulting, payment systems technology, credit card processing, mobile payments and accounting. Centrally located in Kansas City, MSP serves customers across the country. With significant growth year after year, MSP has proven to be a highly successful and sustainable resource for payment solutions management.

Responsibilities

The Client and Alliance Manager manages the Client and Alliance Management area and team. In addition to establishing process, goals and metrics, this person will ensure and implement continuous improvement to promote and support the mission of MSP Consulting.  Specific responsibilities include:

  • Manage alliances by fostering partnerships, promoting MSP services, developing and maintaining metrics and reports related to alliance activity
  • Advise and consulting to prospective clients on MSP Consulting’s solutions and offerings and the benefits we can deliver to their business
  • Manage the client application approval process, including proper configuration and transition for client implementation on our recommendation solution
  • Serve as primary contact to future alliance managers focused in various markets
  • Oversee the daily activities of the team and monitor and report preference and trends for continues improvement opportunities
  • Completes other assigned tasks which may include special projects

  • Responsible for completion of administrative duties and organization of work activities

  • Works as an effective team member, liaising with others and contributing to the overall success of the company

Qualifications

  • Experience or desire to lead a team of professionals
  • Experience in accounting, business consulting or banking fields and/or basic understanding of merchant services
  • Consultative sales experience/accounts management
  • Strong analytic and problem solving skills
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, emphasis on Excel
  • Self-motivated with a desire to grow the organization
  • Entrepreneurial mindset a plus
  • Possess a four-year degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting or Business or equivalent work experience
