Due to CrossFirst’s continued growth and success they are adding a key critical role to the COO’s leadership team. OMNI has been retained in the search for energetic relationship builder who drives results and improvements system wide as the Director, Process Improvement. This individual should have a broad foundation in bank operations and technology with significant experience in leading successful projects and  managing successful people.  

Responsibilities

The Director of Process Improvement provides leadership, direction, and support throughout the organization on projects and organizational process improvement initiatives. This role  leverages emerging technologies and solutions to ensure continued desired operational and financial outcomes. They will proactively create solutions and make recommendations to utilize technology, drive process improvement, serve as advocate and liaison for Bankers and manage critical relationships with external technology providers.

  • Lead the Process Improvement team reflecting the Bank’s mission and core values.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure designed to accommodate growth, process improvement, and efficiencies. 
  • Analyze business needs, problems, and processes to  streamline business processes, increase efficiencies and remove redundancies.
  • Enhance technology utilization and operational efficiencies by providing counsel, training, and communication of information to Bank leadership, management and teams.
  • Develop and communicate business case and business/technology alignment plans to stakeholders and creatively and independently provide resolution to problems.
  • Facilitate internal and external resources with nCino and FIS; remain current with strategic initiatives and roadmap for nCino and FIS.
  • Mentor and lead a high performing team utilizing Strengths Based Leadership objectives.

 

Qualifications

  • Strong management, leadership, recruiting, coaching and mentoring skills to effectively develop, challenge and motivate team members.
  • Demonstrated ability to apply technology solutions to business problems with an in-depth knowledge of industry trends, and regulations as they relate to technology and the Banking industry.
  • Broad foundation in bank operations and technology with significant experience in managing successful projects.
  • Substantial knowledge and expertise in all facets of deposit operations, treasury services and loan services. Knowledge of nCino and FIS systems.
  • High aptitude and experience for data gathering, analysis and decision making.
  • Proven skills in evaluation, planning and implementation of technical projects.
  • Excellent understanding of project management principles and proven experience in planning, organization, and development.
  • Demonstrated success in building and managing a high performing team within a high growth corporate environment.
  • Can quickly establish credibility and build rapport to be recognized as a leader and expert to the internal customer of the Bank.
  • Influential and collaborative communication style. Forward thinker and business savvy to represent this critical position and business unit.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience with exposure to Business, Accounting, Finance or Computer Science.
  • MBA and/or PMI certification strongly preferred.
