OMNI Human Resource Management provides a variety of human resources expertise (consulting, search and outsourcing) to client organizations throughout Kansas City.  We are 19 years strong and growing each year out of our Corporate Woods headquarters.  Our firm offers a highly collaborative culture and family friendly work environment. 


This is not an agency/commission based environment; in many cases, we serve as the outsourced HR department for our clients, resulting in long-standing partnerships. This position joins a team of six dedicated professionals in our talent acquisition practice.  


We seek a highly relationship driven Executive Search Consultant to support a select portfolio of new and established clients.  These positions will be professional staff level to executive management, therefore this individual must have the business acumen and professionalism to interact and successfully engage with mid-level and senior leadership client contacts and candidates. Key accountabilities include the following:

  • Understand key talent acquisition drivers for client operational and financial success.
  • Directly create comprehensive search strategy and position criteria. Actively pursue contacts within qualified, targeted sources and present the best talent for client consideration.
  • Establish and build trusted relationships with key stakeholders and centers of influence in the business/industry community through high-touch engagement. 
  • Maintain knowledge on current and emerging recruitment developments/trends and strategies.
  • Uphold and advance the vision, mission, and reputation of OMNI at all times. 


  • Demonstrated success in client, candidate and recruitment project management ideally in a retained search or professional services talent acquisition role.
  • Consistent and stable work history will reflect demonstrated commitment and competency.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a high capacity for influence among senior level executives and other such persons of influence.   
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  Exceptional organizational skills, and demonstrated success in a multi-task environment managing projects of a critical nature with urgency and importance.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.  Persistence, flexibility and adaptability in a sometimes demanding work environment is expected.
