For over 10 years, OMNI has served as the human resources business partner of Brunson Instrument Company. We have been retained to lead the search for a Director of Manufacturing to join their executive leadership team.

The Director of Manufacturing is an executive level role ideally suited for a strategic, hands-on manufacturing executive with expertise implementing improved processes to support customer demand and drive revenue growth. This role is positioned for continued growth within the Brunson leadership team.

 

Responsibilities

The Director of Manufacturing will ensure continued quality and production values and customer service and business plans are achieved. This role will be responsible for leading production operations and processes, including utilization of equipment, facilities, and personnel to obtain maximum efficiency and operative production schedules.  Additional responsibilities include:

  • Operate as a high growth leader for manufacturing with a focus on delivering quality products on time and within budget.
  • Lead and empower a high performing team with a focus on results, relationships and growth.
  • Ensure products produced and associated costs, quality and delivery commitments are exceeded to achieve operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • Outstanding leadership skills that support team building, a positive work environment, and support of the organization’s mission.
  • Demonstrated success in a B2B operations/manufacturing leadership role (emphasis on engineered products) to include significant experience with TOC and Lean Manufacturing.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; active listening skills with a persuasive, tactful, and professional demeanor ensuring strategic partnerships are enhanced.
  • Reputation for integrity, innovation and both internal/external customer focus
  • Proficiency using computers and experience with an Enterprise Resource Program.
  • Previous experience/knowledge of production/machining processes, equipment and raw materials.
  • Bachelor’s degree required. Masters Degree strongly preferred.
