For over 10 years, OMNI has served as the human resources business partner of Brunson Instrument Company. We have been retained to lead the search for an Account Manager for the Northwest U.S. territory.  The candidate should have a strong mechanical, engineering background with high-level solutions driven, consultative sales aptitude.

Reporting to the Director of Sales and joining a team of 5 sales professionals, this position will function as one of Brunson’s key relationship managers to grow revenue and market share within the Northwest Territory with an emphasis on forestry and sawmill processing, aviation and aerospace industries, among others. This individual is expected to meet or exceed revenue goals by developing key relationships through a customer centric focus and a consultative sales approach. 

  • Educate target customers and prospects to gain recognition for represented products and solutions to increase demand for product specification.
  • Conduct technical, sales and product training in the territory to core customer group.
  • Provide senior management with accurate forecasts and feedback on field intelligence from competitor activities to new product developments.
  • Build trusted relationships internally and externally. Promote and encourage the favorable reputation of Brunson in all markets served.


  • Demonstrated success in industrial tooling (large fixtures and jigs), any industrial technical products such as valves, hydraulic equipment, scientific measurement equipment and/or machine tools.
  • Demonstrated success achieving revenue and margin targets within industries of similar nature, scope and complexity with a blend of growing current customer business and developing new relationships.
  • Proven ability to build lasting relationships as a key vendor/resource.
  • Proficient in CRMs and MS Office Suite.
  • Must be able to travel up to 50% of time within the territory and to both national and international tradeshows on occasion.
  • Reputation for integrity, excellence and customer focus.
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem solving and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • 2+ years of experience with an ERP system.
  • College degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing or related field.
