    Our client, a high growth, leading hospitality company seeks a Vice President, Operations to lead the Mid-Atlantic Region which encompasses Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia, and North Carolina. This critical role will be based remotely in the Greater Washington DC area, reports to a highly-respected Senior VP and will provide leadership and direction to six District Managers serving over 1000 associates and nearly 100 hospitality and healthcare clients.

    The Vice President, Operations will be responsible for the market’s overall performance including financial, guest/patient satisfaction, client retention, employment practices and business development objectives. In addition, this role will allocate and direct resources as needed to ensure business plans, corporate initiatives, and cultural perspectives are incorporated in the market.


    • Maintains knowledge of operational requirements and business reporting procedures affecting the business and ensures company policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance throughout the market.
    • Understands and drives business metrics and performance measurements to ensure effectiveness, high performance, and compliance within the market.
    • Ensures district managers and other assigned market support team members understand and meet the expectations of clients, associates, and the company.
    • Identifies new business development opportunities in the market and develops strategies to grow the market.
    • Initiates and nurtures client relationships leading to client satisfaction, retention, and promotion.
    • Maintains regular contact with market leaders to determine progress in meeting the essential goals and objectives of staffing and scheduling at their sites.
    • Provides strategic and tactical direction and support to dedicated HR and training staff to ensure training programs meet business objectives. Evaluates training program effectiveness in the market and makes adjustments as needed.
    • Ensures uniform adherence to programs such as pay, timekeeping, benefits, progressive discipline, rewards, and other policies and procedures.


    • Demonstrated success in operations management in a complex, fast-moving environment. Hospitality or service industry experience highly preferred.
    • Demonstrated experience exercising considerable judgment and discretion in dealing with matters of significance for the company.
    • Previous P&L and income statement responsibility for a multi-unit organization.
    • Extensive knowledge in sales, employment practices, and business development.
    • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time required.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and vendor management skills.
    • Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university, MBA, or Master’s degree preferred.
