    Our confidential client is seeking a Senior Menswear Designer to be located in Los Angeles, CA.


    Our client is a high-end, contemporary brand with a ready-to-wear, simplistic, and modern approach to denim and apparel design. This well-established men and women’s brand hopes to attain a creative, knowledgeable, and motivated designer to produce unique men’s clothing and provide insight and direction for the company’s progressive style.




    • Research and report new silhouette direction and ideas to Dept. Head each season.
    • Sketch and design new key trends while updating and revamping best-selling styles.
    • Understand and research competitor branding, target customers, and company identity.
    • Work with PD partners to request new fabric and trim sourcing, construction mock ups, and finishing techniques.
    • Prepare for formal Production handover meetings
    • Stay updated and informed on all current and future trends and fashion week runway shows.
    • Participate in hindsight review meetings while working with Merchandising to digest retail selling information.
    • Touch base with managers and associated employees weekly to offer creative problem solving and maintain design integrity.
    • Generate CAD’s sketches and Photoshop images to clearly communicate Design intention for all Design touch points.
    • Create detailed and accurate tech packs in partnership with Head Tech Designer
    • Participate in styling and merchandising of racks, outfitting key looks, and creating overall mood for Line Presentation meetings.



    • Substantial background knowledge and execution of the design production process
    • Highly Skilled hands-on apparel design and related experience
    • Strong organization and communication skills
    • Bachelor’s Degree is preferred
    • Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator experience
