    OMNI has been retained by Woodside Health & Tennis Club, in their search for a Managing Director.  Woodside offers unrivaled amenities for health, fitness and wellness and a social atmosphere. Everything from intense workout classes to stress relief, nutrition advice to physical medicine, one-on-one sessions to social hour— it’s all in one place.

     

    Under the general direction of the President/CEO, the Managing Director is responsible for all aspects of club management, in accordance with Woodside objectives and strategic direction, including: financial performance, property oversight, membership growth, maximizing member satisfaction, management team and individual personnel development.

    Responsibilities

    • Ensures successful operation of all aspects of the Club
    • Assumes lead in management of and accountability for: P&L, club operations, performance and results of all departments
    • Works with directors on strategic and financial direction of specific departments and ensures execution against these elements
    • Works with CEO and CBO to develop strategic business plan for the club (and individual departments when appropriate)
    • Provides oversight for branding strategies throughout the Club ensuring proper execution of marketing, sales and operational activities
    • Establishes and implements departmental policies, goals, objectives and procedures required to maximize results
    • Develops accurate long and short-range financial objectives consistent with the Club’s objectives; including Annual Budgets, Capital Expenditure plans, and other required reports and tracking metrics
    • Demonstrates passion for the business and is responsible for overall member satisfaction and growth

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree or commensurate experience in hospitality and/or health and fitness industries
    • 5-8 years' management experience
    • Strong financial acumen
    • Experience managing corporate financials - P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow
    • Experience managing multiple departments
    • Proven ability to effectively lead and develop staff
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the impact of influencing behavior
