    OMNI serves as the HR business partner for our client, Three Dog Bakery. We are assisting them in their search for a marketing leader to join the organization’s growing team. Three Dog Bakery is the original bakery for dogs and a pioneer in the premium dog food and treat industry. Since 1989, they have been manufacturing and distributing delicious, all-natural dog treats to food retailers and online customers in the United States, Canada, China and Japan.

    Responsibilities

    Reporting to the President/CEO, this position holds ultimate responsibility for the organization's marketing activities and oversees the development and delivery of a fully integrated marketing strategy for the business.  The ideal candidate is a hands-on modern marketer who thinks digital-social-mobile first.  Other key accountabilities include:

     

    • Develop and deliver marketing and communications strategies for the organization, including for new and existing products and all retail initiatives
    • Develop and implement marketing plans, including promotional calendars and programs, new product introductions, influencer programs and other marketing projects
    • Oversee implementation of the Marketing strategy - including campaigns, events, digital marketing, shopper marketing and PR
    • Oversee the operation of the company’s website and email marketing program and provide analytics review
    • Manage social media presence and direct programs to drive increased engagement with social platforms, improve social media reputation and awareness
    • Manage agency providers, freelancers and other suppliers, including contract negotiation and management, as needed
    • Undertake continuous analysis of competitive environment and consumer trends
    • Conduct customer, brand and product research initiatives
    • Supervise a marketing team, including hiring, developing, workloads, schedules and deadlines

    Qualifications

    • 5-10 years marketing experience within an entrepreneurial organization
    • Demonstrated success in designing and implementing digital marketing campaigns 
    • Proven success in the planning and implementation of marketing strategies, competitive analysis and development of new business initiatives
    • Strong understanding of how current digital marketing channels function
    • Demonstrated knowledge of public relations, shopper marketing and event marketing
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Advertising or related field
