    OMNI has been retained by Woodside Health & Tennis Club, in their search for a Director of Membership.  Woodside offers unrivaled amenities for health, fitness and wellness and a social atmosphere. Everything from intense workout classes to stress relief, nutrition advice to physical medicine, one-on-one sessions to social hour— it’s all in one place.


    With an enthusiasm for overall health and wellness and under the general direction of the Managing Director, the Director of Membership’s primary responsibility is to increase net membership and gross revenue of the club.  The Director of Membership encourages member engagement and retention within the Club by consistently introducing new members to other integral parts of the Club, including but not limited to: group fitness, personal training, spa and tennis. This position is also responsible for working with the Director of Marketing to develop unique and quality lead generation plans in order to create avenues for member enrollments generating additional revenues and delivering results. Management of the Membership Representative(s).




    • Develops and implements strategic sales plans for new member enrollments and meets established short and long-term goals and adheres to plans/forecasts to achieve Club requirements
    • Enhances effectiveness of the Referral Membership Program with regular communication and meticulous follow-through
    • Pursues other opportunities such as cold calling and researching other options to build strategic partnerships (Business Journal, Internet and other useful resources) to generate prospects, both corporate and individual
    • Works closely with Marketing to keep current with brand initiatives and Club positioning within the marketplace
    • Recruits, hires, trains and supervises membership staff to achieve the Club’s membership goals
    • Engages other department Directors to develop promotional ideas and ways to integrate various relevant activities as a part of the new member experience
    • Interacts on a regular basis with members, reinforcing Club benefits, addressing concerns, issues or problems, including engaging in membership events, fitness classes, spa services, basketball, tennis, etc.
    • Develops sales budget that include sales revenues, wages/commissions, new member incentives and administration as required
    • Responds in a timely manner to incoming email and phone member inquiries and concerns
    • Tracks all sales activities including: leads, tours, follow ups, closing percentage and sales numbers


    • Bachelor's degree in marketing or business administration, sales experience or commensurate job experience
    • 3-5 years' experience with proven track record in sales leadership and ability to show examples of goals achieved
    • Demonstrated ability to effectively inspire, develop and lead a sales team
    • Strong writing skills with the impact of influencing behavior
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Excellent working relationships with community partners
