    Flury-Hinderks Insurance Agency is a third-generation insurance agency with an outstanding local staff that has served customers in the Kansas City area since 1950. Fully licensed in Kansas, Missouri, Illinois, Texas, Colorado, Arizona, California, Iowa, Nebraska, Arkansas and Utah, Flury-Hinderks is an independent insurance agency. OMNI is pleased to assist in their search and selection for a Personal Lines Account Manager to be based in Overland Park, Kansas. 

     

    Responsibilities

    The Personal Lines Account Manager is responsible for delivering the concierge customer experience for which the insurance agency is known.  As the first point of contact for customer through face to face, calls and e-mails, the role is critical in resolving customer issues, addressing questions and ensuring concerns are quickly resolved. Typical customer engagements include quoting insurance, addressing billing questions or responding to sales and marketing activities.  Additional responsibilities include:

     

    • Respond to requests regarding property/casualty and all other types of insurance and financial services that are sold by Flury-Hinderks.
    • Provide timely responses to customer inquiries regarding their insurance coverage. Explain current insurance coverage and make recommendations where needed to customers based upon their situation. 
    • Resolve customer concerns or issues in a timely manner. Ensure billing issues are understood, explained and addressed as needed to leave customers knowing they have chosen the right agency.
    • Manage the existing customer and policy base which may include reviewing policy renewals and determining an appropriate course of action based on office protocol.
    • Maintain documentation of all customer transactions within the agency management system. Must utilize and be proficient with computers and software including Microsoft Office applications.
    • Provide a professional interaction with all existing and potential customers. Ensure relationships with all Flury-Hinderks are handled professionally with respect and the cooperation required in our small team environment. 

    Qualifications

    • Minimum of 2 years’ Property and Casualty experience.
    • Proven knowledge of Insurance Industry Standards.
    • Must possess and maintain Property and Casualty license.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
    • Excellent communication skills.
    • Demonstrated organizational skills.

    PREFERRED:

    • Associates degree
    • Current experience working in the personal insurance industry as either a producer or customer service representative for personal lines.
