    OMNI is honored to be retained by Buttonwood Financial Group, LLC in their search for their next Wealth Management Strategist (WMS).  Buttonwood Financial Group, LLC is a fiduciary focused Multi-Family Wealth management firm, located in the heart of Kansas City, that specializes in placing financial planning professionals with leading wealth management firms nationwide.

     

    Reporting to the Advisory Department, this position provides financial planning and investment management support to the firm’s Lead and Senior Advisors. The WMS will work with clients and client accounts as well as work closely with advisors coordinating delegation of non-advisory tasks to the Client Services Team. With supervision from higher-level advisors, the WMS has the ability to advise and make recommendations to clients about financial plans and investments.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare and participate in client and prospect meetings with Advisors and follow up afterwards
    • Work with clients to analyze, research, and implement solutions in their individual financial situations
    • Serve as a member of our Investment Policy Committee
    • Prepare, coordinate and follow through on communications with Buttonwood clients
    • Delegate non-advisory tasks to Client Service/Operations Team
    • Prepare and make recommendations for client financial plans, including entering data and running reports using Buttonwood Financial Group Technology (BWMS, Orion, etc.)
    • Make recommendations to Advisor for client specific P & C, Tax and Estate strategy
    • Responsible for Insurance quoting and illustrations
    • Facilitate recurring client projects
    • Provide client support for BWMS & Buttonwood Portal in conjunction with Operations

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree, CFP® certificate preferred or eligible to sit for CFP® exam
    • 1-2 years of experience in the financial industry, including knowledge of regulations, financial planning and investment management
    • Working knowledge of CRM, financial planning and investment management software
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills
    • Demonstrate excellence in organizational and time management skills
