We are actively searching for a seasoned Industrial Packaging Sales Representative to cater to Springfield, MO, and its neighboring regions. Based in our Ozark, Missouri facility, this position focuses on sales within a strategically defined Midwest geographic area. Leveraging our central location, we offer cost-effective deliveries and access to an extensive inventory of over 60,000 top-quality products from leading manufacturers.

Responsibilities

  • Drive new business development and sales growth.
  • Maintain positive relationships with existing clients and establish new relationships with prospective clients.
  • Deliver effective sales presentations in person and via phone with the ability to recognize when the sales plan needs to be modified for continued success.
  • Identify prospects in target markets that align with department and company objectives.
  • Partner with the Sales Manager to develop and execute a sales strategy and conversion plan to turn key prospects into customers.
  • Exceed company sales goals and objectives.
  • Have a good understanding of the industry and products including but not limited to stretch film, corrugated, tapes, and void fill.
  • Continuously self-educate on new industry trends and product knowledge.
  • Provide the ability to listen, comprehend, demonstrate, and provide proper product solutions with the ability to gain respect and trust with customers and prospects.
  • Be a good team member and offer the willingness to help when needed.
  • Utilize a wide variety of sales tools available including vendor representatives, on-line product training, and marketing materials.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or a comparable combination of education and experience.
  • Demonstrated success as a B2B sales professional within the industrial products segment.
  • Friendly and positive attitude with strong listening skills.
  • High drive to hunt new prospects.
  • Ability to work independently with excellent time management, problem solving, and follow-up skills.  
  • Strong oral and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience using computer programs including Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Passion to be in a career with growth over holding a job.
