We are currently seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Engineer to join our team and help drive our continued growth.

 

Reporting to the President, the Sales Engineer will leverage technical engineering expertise and business acumen to identify new market opportunities, develop strategic partnerships, and promote Brunson’s technical solutions. This role is crucial in bridging the gap between technical teams and business development strategies, effectively communicating complex technical information to a diverse range of stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets in the assigned territory.
  • Identify potential customers and understand their technical and business needs through various methods, including networking and cold calling.
  • Set and track sales account targets in line with company objectives.
  • Report on sales results and present performance reports to management.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure cohesive market penetration and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and adjust sales strategies accordingly.
  • Provide customer feedback to product development teams and suggest product enhancements.
  • Engage with senior supply chain executives, develop solutions, and lead the proposal and sales process.
  • Drive end-user and OEM adoption of Brunson offerings through events, training, and demonstrations.
  • Provide pre-sales technical assistance and deliver quotations and proposals.
  • Maintain prompt, professional, and solution-oriented customer communications.
  • Develop an understanding of customers' organizational structures and key buying influences.
  • Maintain relationships with existing customers to ensure ongoing business and satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with various teams to create comprehensive solutions and proposals.
  • Maintain and track projects in CRM software.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a sales engineering or business development role.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of autonomy and self-motivation.
  • Ability to create and deliver technical presentations tailored to the audience.
  • Strong understanding of sales performance metrics.
  • Strategic thinking and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft 365.
