We are seeking an experienced and driven Electrical Engineer/Designer with experience in designing electrical power distribution, lighting and lighting controls systems. The ideal candidate will hold a high level of accountability to work independently while maintaining strong relationships with the EBS team and clients. This position will work closely with our project teams to develop detailed and accurate system layouts, drawings, and schematics, ensuring the highest standards of quality and precision in all design documentation. This is a hybrid position within the Kansas City metro.

• Design and Development:
  • Create detailed electrical designs, schematics, and layouts for various projects.
  • Collaborate with other engineers and designers to integrate electrical systems with other project elements.
• Project Management:
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and other external partners to ensure project success.
• Technical Support:
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients and team members.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure proper installation and functionality of electrical systems.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, standards, and regulations to ensure compliance and innovation in designs.

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or architectural engineering.
• 1-5 years of experience in electrical design within a consulting engineering firm (or similar experience.)
• A self-starter with a proven track record in engineering design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit design software.
• I.T certification, preferred.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
