We’re seeking an Inside Sales Associate to help expand our customer base and drive sales. Working with the Sales and Marketing team, this role will generate new leads, respond to inquiries, and assist clients throughout the sales cycle. The ideal candidate is a proactive and motivated individual with strong communication skills and technical knowledge. Responsibilities

  • Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions and product knowledge.
  • Present and deliver information to potential clients.
  • Respond to client inquiries and follow up on calls.
  • Drive sales and collaborate with clients throughout the closing process.
  • Enter and verify sales orders in the system.
  • Research potential leads through business directories, web searches, and digital resources.
  • Qualify leads from digital campaigns, conferences, references, and tradeshows.
  • Maintain and update a database of prospective clients.
  • Cold call and make outbound calls to generate new leads.
  • Track performance and sales metrics on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • Build and maintain pipelines with channel partners and team members to close sales.
  • Manage prospective client information in databases (Epicor, CRM, Excel, etc.).
  • Build strong rapport with customers through excellent communication and customer service best practices.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED and 3+ years’ experience in sales or customer service for technical products required.
  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Comfortable making cold calls and engaging with new people consistently.
  • Strong technical skills with experience utilizing CRM and ERP tools (HubSpot and Epicor a plus).
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Persuasive, goal-oriented, and driven to achieve targets.
  • Proactive and motivated to expand the company through new sales, clients, and territories.
  • Deep understanding of company services and their position in the industry.
  • Knowledgeable in the full sales process, from initiation to closing.
  • Highly organized with strong analytical skills, effective time management, and attention to detail.
  • Energetic, outgoing, and approachable with the ability to handle rejection and maintain a positive attitude.
