We’re seeking a CNC Machinist II who will be responsible for utilizing precision tools and machinery to produce highly accurate parts and tools as per specifications as well as some assembly work. The ideal candidate is someone with strong attention to detail and who loves to handle complex tasks. Responsibilities

  • Machine parts to specifications using machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, or grinders.
  • Align and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machines.
  • Calculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and vernier calipers.
  • Maintain tight tolerances of +/- .0001
  • Monitor the quality of components using a wide range of equipment including CMM inspection and departmental quality documentation
  • Use ERP system and quality system, creates certificates of compliance and documents serialized product for warranty purposes.
  • Use general hand tools for assembly.
  • Keep an organized work area to maintain a productive and safe work environment.
  • Apply the “Lean” knowledge and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent, with at least 2+ years of experience in the field or a related area.
  • Strong knowledge of industry concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Use experience and judgment to plan and achieve goals.
  • Work independently with a high level of creativity and autonomy.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
