The KC Health Collaborative (KCHC) is seeking an experienced, certified, and highly skilled Project Manager to lead the Kansas City Health Equity Learning and Action Network (LAN). The LAN provides training, tools, and expertise to enable individuals and organizations to make meaningful changes to systems, policies, and structures to reduce and eliminate disparities in healthcare delivery and realize measurable improvements in health outcomes. The focus of the LAN is on communities impacted by health inequities. The initiative includes significant engagement with nationally recognized content experts who provide training, facilitation, tools, and process expertise. The LAN consists of 20-40 participating organizations from the KC region who participate in both general learning and education as well as specific action-oriented activity within their own organizations supported by LAN resources. This is a full‐time position that will also support other related KCHC strategic priorities as needed. Candidates with a strong track record of managing complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives are preferred.
The Project Manager will be responsible for day-to-day planning and coordination of LAN activity, including maximizing participant engagement, scheduling, planning and logistics for meetings, coordinating training events, and ensuring that the work is advancing according to an established work plan.
The role requires coordination with Health Forward Foundation, consultants and content experts, leadership and representatives from participating organizations, community-based faculty, local and national stakeholders and content experts, and other partners that may be identified over the course of the work. The Project Manager will work at the direction of the Executive Director of the KCHC and be able to work in a variety of settings, including remotely as well as in KCHC or partner office locations in the KC Metro area.
