We’re seeking a Fabricator/Welder III who will perform advanced-level fabrication and welding work including the joining, repair, and construction of complex components and structures using a wide range of welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding. The ideal candidate is someone with strong attention to detail and who loves to interpret highly technical blueprints, diagrams, and schematics to determine optimal processes. Responsibilities

  • Perform advanced MIG, TIG, and arc welding across a variety of materials, joint types, and configurations.
  • Read and interpret complex blueprints, technical drawings, and weld symbols with minimal oversight.
  • Operate both manual and CNC metal fabrication equipment, including saws, lathes, press brakes, drill presses, and grinders.
  • Lead or assist in prototype fabrication and process development for new or custom-designed products.
  • Assemble mechanical and general components, maintaining high standards of cosmetic finish and functional integrity.
  • Collaborates with engineering, quality, and production teams to troubleshoot and resolve design or fabrication challenges.
  • Adhere to quality and safety protocols while actively supporting process improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; 3-5+ years of welding and fabrication experience, or completion of a certified technical welding program with equivalent hands-on experience.
  • Advanced proficiency in MIG, TIG, and arc welding, with strong understanding of metalworking techniques and best practices.
  • Proven ability to interpret complex engineering documents and independently resolve fabrication issues.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing, 5S, and continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
  • Self-motivated and capable of making routine decisions independently within established guidelines.
