OMNI is honored to be retained by Mid-America Regional Council (MARC) in the search for a Grant Manager – Aging and Adult Services. This strong financial manager, who is motivated by serving others, manages the financial activities of the Aging and Adult Services Department. The person would serve as a key member of the Finance Division management team, and as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the Aging and Adult Services leadership staff.

MARC is the federally designated Area Agency on Aging for Cass, Clay, Platte, Ray, and Jackson Counties in Missouri, and a large part of the work is managing Older Americans Act funding that provides critical services to over 9,500 seniors in the planning and service area. The financial portfolio also includes several innovative integrated care programs that promote healthy, active lifestyles and nutrition for the region’s most at-risk residents, including older adults and disadvantaged populations. The current budget for Aging and Adult Services is $16.7M.
The Grant Manager – Aging and Adult Services provides grant management and fiscal leadership and expertise to support MARC’s policy goals and initiatives. This position manages 1 grant accountant and works in concert with program managers and other stakeholders to provide comprehensive fiscal management for programs funded by multiple grants and fee-based systems. This position involves interacting with state and federal agencies, private funders, independent contractors, as well as community-based organizations. This position requires a high level of familiarity with federal and state grants, Uniform Guidance, and various reporting methods and procedures. Work is performed independently with directional oversight from the Finance Director and a dotted line with the Director of Aging and Adult Services.
